It’s not often that I stumble upon a company or product that alleges it is “green” and worth mentioning for its eco-conscious efforts…but something just popped up that is refreshingly true to its name.

Green Tangerine is an Eco-friendly seasonal “pop-up” shop in Brentwood, CA specializing in sustainable gift items that change with each season. Everything from the products to the interior décor are transformed to suit the time of year. Who’s the creative mind behind this clever concept? An interior designer with a knack for finding sustainable designed products that are recycled and manufactured with the least environmental impact while making sure there’s a lot of style behind it.

Supporting local and independent designers, Green Tangerine adds new inventory weekly, but some favorites like the “Love Bottles” (reusable glass water bottles where the words and the pictures emit energy) are always available. You will also find “Wine not Wednesdays” (featuring local organic wine) and Free Eco-friendly lectures.

With its carbon footprint almost down to zero and a playful concept, I’d say this shop is not only eco-conscious, but also people-conscious.
