Nothing makes me happier than British detective shows. Whether it is Idris Elba as Luther, or Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock, there is just something about that accent, the attitude and the tea that makes a rainy day (when we get one) better. But who would want to wear all that tweed all the time?

So imagine my delight when I found Zen. Not the meditative state, but rather Aurelio Zen, a British detective show set in Italy. Replace rain with Mediterranean sun, tea for wine, and tweed for some of the most gorgeous suits this side of Greenwich and you are starting to get the picture. But the accent remains. Not to mention the British wit, the thrilling plot, and that British acting. Do yourself a favor, get a cup of tea (or wine), and watch Zen, itís better than practicing it.
